Question

Hotdogs are a popular snack choice at various occasions, from parties and gatherings to cozy nights on the couch. However, no hotdog brand in Belgium has claimed these moments, even though Zwan has been producing sausages for nearly 100 years. The challenge was clear: position Zwan as the go-to brand for delicious hot dogs, owning this space in the Belgian market.

Approach

The strategy was to associate Zwan with key snack moments by making the hotdog the hero of every occasion. To achieve this, we developed the slogan “The Zwan and Only Hotdogs”, a play on words that emphasizes Zwan's legacy and quality and leadership in the hotdog category.


To bring this to life, we organized a photoshoot focused on creating mouth-watering images of Zwan hot dogs, making consumers crave them instantly. 

Results

We produced a range of creative assets including in-store visuals, point-of-sale displays, and digital content. The campaign was rolled out across key retail locations in Belgium, backed by promotions and competitions that engaged consumers, solidifying Zwan as the brand of choice for hot dogs.
